Meet our Window Art Beat Kids Feature: August M

With a love of all-things whimsical and a desire to create magic for children in the community, Tadpoles & Tiddlers is thrilled to introduce our first window Art Beat Kid feature.

At the beginning of the pandemic, Tricia (mom of August and Isla) was looking for safe activities to get her children outside the home. Seven-year-old, August, has always loved fairies, thanks to the imagination of his grandmother and her large fairy garden. After seeing a fairy door in Hudson—August began asking his mom if they could make them together.

And with his family, the Copley Fairlawn Enchanted Fairy Doors company came to life. 

Today, fairy doors hide at places like the Akron Zoo, Bake Shop at Ghent, Fort Island Pool, and inside our store! 

When we put out the call for window display artists, August quickly signed up! He has a love of art and adding dimension to his projects. We adored meeting his family and seeing the level of detail, including the final glitter finish on the window display.
